“Gegeelen” development center for mothers of children with disabilities has moved to new premises!
“Gegeelen” development centre for mothers of children with disabilities has moved to new premises! Centre serves as a space for parents to share knowledge and information, learn new skills while taking care of their children.
The Centre was initiated in December, 2014 with the funding from MONES, and activities used to be organised in a five-wall felt yurt.
MONES has supported capacity and skill building of 23 mothers from 15th and 16th khoroos of Chingeltei district. These mothers organised themselves, advocated for their right and the rights of their children with disabilities. As a result, they were able to receive premises from the district government.
